What is the My Beloved meme?
It is a simple picture: a heart with the words my beloved at the top and two names inside. People post it to tag a partner, a crush or a best friend, or send it straight to them in a chat.
This tool draws it for you. Type the two names, watch the heart update as you type, and save it as a square PNG.
How to make one
- Type your name. It goes at the top of the heart.
- Type their name. It goes underneath, after the ampersand.
- Download the PNG. Post it, or send it in any chat.
Tips
- Short names look best. Long names shrink to fit, so a nickname stays big and bold.
- Try a pet name. The name only the two of you use makes it feel private.
- Send it without warning. It lands best as a small surprise in the middle of a normal day.
- Want photos? The heart locket opens to show two faces instead of two names.
When to send it
Anniversaries and Valentine’s Day. The obvious ones, and still the most popular. Post it, or send it first thing in the morning.
Long distance. This is where it does the most. A small reminder that you are thinking of them, without needing a long message.
Best friends. It is not only for couples. My beloved and a best friend’s name is a very normal thing to post.
The meme is made in your browser. Your names are never sent anywhere.
