Terms and Conditions

By using erasebg.org you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old, and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Erase BG removes backgrounds from photos, turns photos into 3D GIFs, and offers small photo tools such as a cropper, a resizer and a format converter. Some tools run on our servers and some run entirely in your browser; the privacy policy explains which.

We keep improving the service, so features may change, and we may add or remove tools over time.

• Free. Anyone can use Erase BG without an account. Free cut-outs download at up to 800 px on the longest side, with no watermark. Free GIFs are 480 × 360 px with a small erasebg.org mark. The background remover has a daily and monthly limit.
• Pro. Pro adds full-resolution cut-outs, HD GIFs with no watermark, video copies of GIFs and public share links. The current prices are on the pricing page.

• Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Use your real email address, and do not create accounts for other people without asking them.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.

You keep full ownership of the photos you upload and the results you make. We do not claim any rights to them. You give us only the permission we need to process them, store them and show them back to you.

• Only upload photos you own or have the right to use.
• A share link makes an image public. You are responsible for what you share, and you can delete a link at any time from your storage page.
• The Erase BG name, logo, design and technology belong to Monova Tech.

Erase BG Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Payments are processed by our payment partner Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and handles sales tax and receipts. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

If Pro is not right for you, email us within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. Renewals are not refunded, except where required by applicable law.

To keep Erase BG fast for everyone, please do not:

• Upload illegal, sexual, violent or hateful content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Use bots or scripts to upload in bulk or to get around the limits.
• Try to break into, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service.
• Use the service to break the law or to harm anyone.

We may limit or suspend access for anyone who does.

Erase BG is provided as it is and as available. Automatic cut-outs and GIFs are usually very good, but not always perfect, and the service may sometimes be slow or down. We make no promise that it will suit a particular purpose.

As far as the law allows, Monova Tech and Erase BG are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses from using the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these terms. The new version will appear here with a new date at the top. If you keep using Erase BG after a change, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Jhapa District Court, Nepal.
